Grilled Shrimp with Smoked Paprika
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked sweet paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1-1/2 pounds large or extra- large shrimp, peeled and de-veined
Directions
- Place the oil in a bowl large enough to hold the shrimp and crush the garlic into it. Add the salt, paprika, cayenne, and lemon juice. Whisk to blend.
- Add the shrimp and toss to coat well.
- Prepare a hot fire in the grill. Grill the shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Serve immediately or set aside to cool and serve at room temperature.
